Activity 6: Share Your Ideas
Think about one ICT tool that
you can use during remote learning. How will you use it to make your teaching
learning process interactive and help students to understand the basic content
being taught? Share your ideas.
There are several tools in the market which can be use during remote learning, such as Eduactiv8, TuxMath, Tux paint, Gcompris, etc which can make the teaching learning process interactive and help students to understand the basic content. However due to the poor technological facilities and connectivity in our area and also due to unavailability of the gadgets to access the tools due to the economic status, using ICT tool for remote learning is not a probable option. Suitable ICT tools can be selected as per the nature of content to help the children understand the basic content. I would use a Visual tool to help them visualize and interact to motivate them to be more actively involved in the learning process and understanding of the basic concept.

It is a survey administration software included as part of the free, web-based Google Docs Editors suite offered by Google. With the help of the Google form quizzes, evaluations can be done so easily. It helps teachers to:
(1) Create surveys to meet curriculum objectives,
(2) Ask various types of questions, and
(3) Apply validation options to control data entry.
One ICT tool that can be used for remote learning is Google Classroom. It makes learning very fun and accessible to all students across different parts. Different forms of learning materials can be sent through the platform.

One ICT tools that i would use during remote learning is projecter because in remote area sometimes use of other technologies or tools are not possible,due to poor connection of internet, electricity and poor connection of transport
ReplyDeleteThe one ICT tool that I will used in a audio visual tool like projector or video cause mostly in an extreme remote areas where the internet facility are not that feasible as in the urban area..therefore with this tools the student will be able to learn the necessity ..
ReplyDeleteThe ICT tools that I will use in remote learning is classroom based learning using laptops, pen drives and projectors as this will work in a places where there's no proper access to net. As this is also an ICT tools using software presentations. Thus,it's a kind of efficient tools providing both audio-visual aids enhancing the learners development ,interest and progress.
ReplyDeleteOne ICT tool suitable for students in primary grade include google meet( it include presentation,oral test, various assessment tools) can be used remotely. Google classroom also help a lot in conducting test which includes various question types.

Radio can be used during remote learning. It extends the traditional classroom concept with one teacher delivering courses to many children. It is very easy to broadcast on a Radio an audio file. It overcomes electricity and internet problems.
ReplyDeleteOne ICT tool that I can use during remote learning is radio as it can be used as an effective tool in education both for formal and non-formal education.
ReplyDeleteFor effective use of radio as a tool ,first of all, I should prepare myself, my class and students for a radio class , providing students the theme of the topic in advance, motivate students to listen to the programme carefully and to take notes of important things being explained by experts during the broadcast. Avoid discussion or noise during the broadcast ,encourage students to ask the questions related to the programme. As soon as broadcast is over, I have to organize follow -up activities such as organizing a discussion on the basis of the radio programme, try to solve the queries and doubts noted down by students during the broadcast, ask students to perform some activities suggested to ensure the understanding of concepts and assign students some group projects, etc.
Not all remote teaching tools are the same, each one has its own unique quality to enhance learning. Each tool helps make learning easy and fun. One such ICT tool that can be used during remote learning is The Google Classroom application, This is the only application that Google has developed specifically for students and teachers to help them communicate and collaborate, manage assignments paperless, and stay organized.
ReplyDeleteIn Google Classroom teachers and students can create folders and documents that can be shared between each other. If the students work in groups, they can create their own shared folder. Students can add files such as images, links, or YouTube videos to their posts.
To make it more interesting and fun we can:
-Provide peer tutoring: Students in upper grades can tutor and support students in lower grades through the creation of a Google Classroom class for this purpose.
-Create a Discussion on Specific Topic
-Prepare Weather/environment lab and Compare and contrast the world around them, etc.
Possibilities so vast, So much can be done.
