is going to be the most challenging moment or issue while providing learning
experiences related to all the developmental goals in the classroom and why?
The most challenging issue, I feel would be the time management for various activity . Another issue is large number of children to handle or engage by a single teacher during activity based learning .
ReplyDeleteAlthough there is going to be much challenges in providing learning experiences, the most important one might be lack of time and LSRW disabled children. Children may not be able to grasp all the learning experiences within limited time. So, it must be ensured that even span of time be given for the children to learn and experience Moreover, children with LSRW disabilities may face problems as they will not be able to learn like the other children who have no difficulties.

ReplyDeleteThe most challenging will be making understanding various children with different abilities and concept of various kind and. Handling disabilities children as it will include various technique and machanism to make them understand.
There are many challenging issues or moments while teaching the children...But the most challenging issue/moment is dealing or teaching the slow learners.Every child has different capacity.some are fast learner and some are slow learners.So to make every child equally learn is the most challenging issue.

Every students have different abilities and capacities ,so in order to make the students learn and understand , teamwork, working towards long term goals and equality teaching to all the students is required.

Diverse students from different environments sit together in a classroom. They have different problems viz family, social and communication problems. Sometimes naughty children disturb other children and teachers face problems in their teaching learning process.

ReplyDeleteIt is because if enough time is not given for interaction with children, then some slow learner students will not understand the teaching. Moreover there are many Schools with large number of students with few teachers. In such classroom single teacher are assigned to teach.
Students poor attendance is one of the major hindrances due to poverty of the parents they can't attend school regularly

Today, the students not only have to cope with academic and peer pressure but also have to deal with unrealistic parental expectations.
The biggest challenge for a teacher lies in assessing the progress of the students and effectively conveying the same to the parents.
Most challenging issue would be teaching slow learners.

ii) to make the planning flexible enough enough to accommodate any change at a particular moment is very tough, as planning should be done beforehand.
iii) time management is also a factor as all activities should be performed within a stipulated time.
The most challenging issue will be the commitment of the teachers. Many teachers are not bothered as long as they get salary.
ReplyDeleteThe most challenging moment or issue while providing learning experiences in the class room would be the 'interrelatedness of three developmental Goals' which connects all the three developmental goals.
ReplyDeleteFor example, activity for goal 1 is also covering goals 2 and 3. In other words it helps to understand how these three goals are interdependent and interconnected. The developmental goals activities which are catering for children is enjoyed and played by children.
Although it was planned for goal-1, but the child also learnt mathematical vocabulary; i.e. when the child was calling out the words big, small, smallest ball, biggest ball... also covering foundational literacy and numeracy. So, the activities have also touched Goal-2 “ Children are effective communicators”. So through these activities the children also learnt the pre-number concept i.e. size and seriation with no efforts and in a fun and play way manner. So, in a fun way, the activities have also covered the Goal-3 -“Children are involved learners and connect with their environment”. As the ball game activity covered the pre-number concepts under the foundational numeracy.
And also think about some story and link or plan the activities catering to all the three developmental goals.
For example, tell children a story of “ the pigeons and the hunter” and later do a dance drama or dramatization on the story where children can enact like pigeons and one child can become a hunter.
This would help them to release their pent-up feelings as they act out the story.
•They learn also the new words.
•They will also learn about spatial sense during dramatization and role play.
•They will also learn about the values of “staying together” in a very easy way without you emphasizing on the moral of the story.
Learn counting when they are counting the number of pigeonsThink about more such activities, how you can make stories connected to all the three developmental goals.
What the children have learnt from this activity?
•They have developed Fine motor skills.
•Imagination and Creativity.
•Language development.
•Math and related vocabulary.
•Working together which is very good for their well-being. I hope now you understood about, how these three developmental goals are interconnected, interrelated and interdepende
The most challenging issues while providing learning experience in the class room would be like among all the developmental goals after we added all the experience and the activity that are given some students like slow learners they may not be able to grasp the things that we taught like others sstudents, they may take a time to learn so teaching the slow learner would be the most challenging issues. Learning experiences are crutial in imparting developmental goals of good and effective communicator, well being, involved learners. On top of this as we are living in a digital age and environment, the increased use of digital technologies further complicates teachers to provide nuanced and personalised feedback and support to help students overcome their difficulties and confusions.

ReplyDeleteAbove that special attention is also to be paid to children with special needs is another challenge for a teacher.
Some of the challenges or issue in providing learning experiences related to the developmental goals in the classroom are:
ReplyDelete(i) Lack of learning materials in the school for the children to engage with
(ii) Lack of teachers/helpers to manage the children
(iii) Irregular attendance of children which disrupts the flow of teaching and learning
(iv) Lack of rich learning environment due to unavailability of resources
Students who spend most of their time working alone miss out on opportunities to improve their social and collaborative abilities. Teachers are required to wear several hats during the day, including social worker, psycho-educator, and counsellor. There isn't enough time to deal with body functions! Teachers often complain about not having enough time to prepare, plan, and execute all of the responsibilities that are assigned to them. Teachers would desire extra time for things such as updating content presentations and papers. Access to expert staff and additional time outside of class are two suggestions for improving assistance.

Topics like development goals are a very broad and complicated topics for a primary school students and it is very important for us as teachers to reciprocate properly with students while teaching such topics, and most importantly to know whether the students have understood the topic or not.

ReplyDeleteStudents differ in their ability to learn and write and they show varied interests in various subjects. A student may be good at co-curricular activities but does not show the same attention and interest when it comes to Academics. Some students are exceptionally brilliant and hard-working, while others are slow learners. The biggest challenge for any teacher will be, as to how we motivates, guides and encourages the students and provide a holistic learning environment for students with different abilities/interest.
The most challenging issues in providing learning experiences in my classroom are language, excess no of students, students without basic knowledge, extreme variations in knowledge levels of the students in the same class,etc.
ReplyDeleteIn the matter language problem, we have the situations that students can't understand my mother tongue, English or hindi properly. I also can't speak their mother tongue. But i try my best to speak their language for explaining the lessons.
Obviously it is the health factor as we know the covid 19 situation is worsening day by day and govt needs to address this thing especially in primary schools with inadequate health facilities to ensure a hygienic environment for children to learn and grow.
