  1. Sometimes, some children find difficulty coping up with the school activities especially with regard to the home assignment given to the children due to absence of parents' co-operation at home. So, I would suggest the SMC to approach the parents of such children to talk to them personally so that they give moral support to the children at home. At least, separate study rooms for the children should be prepared at home and the parents if needed should take the lead and motivate the children to attend to their studies. The parents should also be partners in the journey of their children's study

  4. It is common for children to experience difficulties at school. Some issues are minor, such as missing out on school council or forgetting to bring the proper sports uniform. We and the child can usually solve these by talking and problem-solving together. Some issues may be more complex or long-lasting. For example, the child may be having ongoing problems with another child on the playground, and the strategies we've suggested to the child haven't worked. To solve these issues, we may need to consult with the child's parent(s).
If we decide to meet with the child's parent(s) about a serious problem, we must first determine what the problem is. It's also a good idea to talk to the child's parent(s) about the issue. This way, we'll learn about the situation from the perspective of someone else. We must also allow everyone to express their wants, needs, and concerns. If we want the child's parent(s) to understand our concerns, we should demonstrate that we understand the parent(s)' position. We can then generate potential solutions and evaluate them by weighing the benefits, drawbacks, and consequences of each solution. Finally, we can choose the best idea, or a combination of ideas, to put into action.

  15. Some of the difficulties faced in school as a teacher and a head in charge are,
    1. Communication gap between teacher and parents.
    2. Students poor attendance and homework.
    3. Some teacher's are not active in their own duties and lack of facilities like computers and printers in the school. Most of these problems can be solved by SMC members and parents. According to RTE act 2009 50% of all the power of a school is in the hands of SMCs members and parents. If SMC and parents work and take active participation in PTM and work collaboratively, it will become a good result for both students and teachers. Therefore to enhance young students FLN skills, parents, teachers and SMCs togetherness working is very much important at this time like a tripolar system in the school. Above this community members and other family members like siblings, children's uncle, aunt grandparents have their important roles and we as teachers have to make strong bonds with these stakeholders accordingly and try to communicate beginning from small things for results.

    1. Want of Teaching Staff which cannot be solved by the Teacher only but the need of support of the SMDC.
    2. Lack of school infrastructure which cannot be solved by the teacher only but to be solved by the union of SMDC and the Higher Authority.

  20. Different kinds of difficulties arise in the school namely, health and emergency issues. Children tend to get bored due to poor infrastructure of schools too. The sanitation channel also needs to be checked properly as there is always lack of water and other essentials. Students need proper classroom equipments to learn as they learn fast and efficiently when they perform. These issues can be solved by the SMC along with the teachers and parents by addressing the solutions to these issues.

  21. Children often comes without pencil, eraser, and sometimes incomplete text book and note books. Children also used to forget doing homeworks.
All these shows that parents are not paying attention to children studies.
All this can be solve if SMC members can remind parents and children's to take better responsibilities in study if they join hands with school, students can/will grasp the concepts and ideas discussed in school and the result can be excellent.

  24. As school children, most of us faced different kinds of difficulties, especially when it comes to government schools. Missing classes was very common. When we could not totally bunk the classes we attended without complete school uniforms or books. Those issues could have been easily solved if parents and teachers join hands together and work hand in hand.

Sometimes children fight and disturb the classes, if not the whole school. This problem should be manage by the SMC together with the parents. Disciplinary actions must be taken strictly.

In short, SMC- Parent meeting is crucial for overall progress. The SMC must organize meeting with parents frequently and sort out problems, their causes and solutions. They must work hand in hand.

  25. Generally, there are different kinds of difficulties faced by every teacher in the school however, some of these difficulties can be solved by the school management committees (SMC) and parents because partnership between teachers, schools, parents and community are very important and they help in better development of children as well as community.

And parent-teachers meetings PTMs should be held once in a month and all the parents should attend the Parent-Teachers Meeting regularly and ask the teachers in the school how their children are progressing and support the school also because without Parents’ support your child cannot flourish, so that is very very important. Another thing is like schools can organise the fun workshops for FLN. Schools should take care that they should not make it very boring for the adults. It should be a fun workshop where the parents learn about easy literacy and numeracy activities which they can do with their children at home where I think it will bring the family together and these games will be enjoyed by all the family members.

So there are many ways in which these collaborations can be formed between teachers, parents and communittiees and in this way, these people can be approached to make the situation better for the learning process in the school.
Specially at the foundational stage and for supporting development of FLN skills involving parents is actually very important. Because it supports both children as well as the teachers. and parents, communities and school management committees have their own specific roles and when they work together and collaborate, I think it becomes a very meaningful partnership for everyone and for better results.

Even when it is the role of teacher to provide student with quality education, the process is only complete when there is meaningful partnership and co -operation of teachers, parents and smc members. Parent should be ideal and working together with teachers and SMC to provide best learning experience for student. If parents are stepping away from responsibilities, it can be tough for teachers to handle atleast a few of students.

  28. According to me some common problems or challenges faced by the teacher are trying to understand the different learning abilities of the students, how to encourage and motivate when the students underperform, how to handle with parental and peer pressure, etc. These challenges can be greatly reduced if the teacher manage to establish a healthy pàrent-teacher relationship. By doing so a teacher can improve students' academic achievement, social competencies and most importantly emotional well-being. So, in my view establishing a good and healthy and by working as partners, studeo will flourish much better both in school and at home.

It can be due to poor attendance of the students, negligence by parent for sending their children to school, less attentive students, fighting with friends inside school campus and many more. For all these problem consulting with SMC and with their parents help a lot. Occasionally arranging PTM is helping in coping with these problems thereby responsibility is shared both by the teacher and the parents as well as with community. Most importantly of all regular visit to home of students help a lot in solving all the above problems. Due to covid19, situation is not conducive so helping at present days is through regular giving of notes and checking there level of understanding of the subject is done at time gap. Learning involve collective effort of students, teachers and parents/guardian.

So we approached them through arranging PTM and discussing their problems. Making a phone call to parents/guardians also help a lot. Best approach is to talk with them politely and solve their problem timely.

    1.Transportation:.
This issue has been brought up as my school is situated in a remote place and here there aren't vehicles for the proper transport of students .So affording a vehicle for the school would come in handy and students can be released of walking to and fro daily.
    2.Infrastructure:
As education is also known/ termed as all round development the need for construction of play games is also a need as some students might be below average but excel in games and sports. For such students schooling can be seen in a different perspective and interest.
    3.Workload:
This issue is also found sometimes so it is important to not neglected . Sometimes the work given to students can be overweighting and due to this it can also lead to certain stress or problems like lack of sleeping time, mind stress ,body stress etc.So teachers must emphasize the assignments carefully before handing it out to the students.

And there are also other difficulties or issues faced by the students like the communication gaps between a student's parents and teachers .Like if there was a better understanding or communication between them it might become the growth of the student when they collaborated. This also can be known as lack of participation. If they participated there wouldn't be lack of communication and of participation etc.

  84. It is a very common for children to experience difficulties at school. Some issues are minor, such as missing out on school council or forgetting to bring the proper sports uniform. If parents know their responsibilities properly there should be better result in TLP. Most importantly of all regular visit to home of students help a lot in solving all the above problems. So we approached them through arranging PTM and discussing their problems

  86. It’s common for children to have some problems at school.
Some problems are minor, for example, missing out on school or forgetting to bring the right notebooks to school.
Some problems might be more complicated or long-lasting. For example, learners might be having ongoing difficulties in the communicating and interacting with another child and the strategies we’ve suggested haven’t worked. With these problems, we might need to talk with your child’s parents and SMC to find solutions.
    How to approach them?
we should be willing to listen to what parents and SMC have to say and approach every conversation with an open mind, free of judgments. What they tell us about the child may help us and guide us toward making the best instructional decisions in the classroom.

  87. Sometimes we find it difficult to understand children better. Here parents can help us by sharing their knowledge about their child. Also, SMC can organise programmes on regular basis for interaction of parents with teachers. There should be two way traffic for improvement of the child.

  88. Common problems faced in Government Schools of Manipur are mainly poor attendance of students, lack of parents’ participation, maintenance of proper hygiene in school, etc. Some of these can be minimised by concerted efforts of school, parents and community through sharing the progress and problems of all levels with the parents through SMC meetings or PTMs.

  89. Most of us had various issues in school as children, particularly when it came to government schools. It was fairly typical for students to miss school. When we couldn't completely skip classes because we didn't have entire school outfits or books. Those problems could have been easily remedied if parents and teachers had joined hands and worked together.

Children fight and disrupt classes, if not the entire school, at times. The SMC, in collaboration with the parents, should address this issue. Disciplinary sanctions must be properly enforced.

In conclusion, the SMC-Parent Meeting is critical to overall growth. The SMC should hold regular meetings with parents to discuss problems, their causes, and remedies. They need to collaborate.

  90. As a teacher I find many difficulty related to unequal potential and ability for a students , it's hard to find out every child's ability. In order to find out we need to co-operate with parents regularly. We cannot do to make a good students by teachers alone , it's a teamwork. All we need to understand is to co-operate and discuss the problems among us and the parents in order to make all right..

  91. There used to face many difficulties. Children tend to get bored due to poor infrastructure of schools too. The sanitation channel also needs to be checked properly as there is always lack of water and other essentials. Sometimes children fight and disturb the classes, if not the whole school. This problem should be manage by the SMC together with the parents. Disciplinary actions must be taken strictly. A great initiative of Ministry of Education like constitution of youth and eco club in the school can be one of such approached that can be utilized by the teachers in their respective schools to motivate the students in order to motivate their parents to keep the school properties safe and keeping the surrounding clean and hygienic.

  93. Some of the difficulties we generally face are:
    1. Lack of support or interest from the parents in the learning process of their children.
    2. Low enrollment of the students.
    3. Student’s absence from class.
    4. Non completion of assignment
    5. Non co-operation and unresponsiveness of parents
These difficulties can be resolved if there is a strong and meaningful partnerships between the school, parents and community. These partnerships can help in regular updates on how children are performing in school and improved personal communication between parents, children and teachers. Parents also get to know how the children’s growth and learning.
The SMC can help in resolving the difficulties between the teacher and parents, the issue of low enrollment by having a consultative meeting and conference. Involvement of parents, families, community and SMCs will improve the quality of learning of all children.

As a teacher, I face many difficulties such as poor and irregular attendance of the students, lack of communication between the parents and teachers, etc. I believe that many of them can be solved if the parents and we, teachers, take a step forward and work together for the betterment of our children.

  96. Sometimes students do mischiefs and parents do not know the selfless sacrifice of the teachers. At such instances the SMC along with the parents can sit together to chalk out ways to understand and work together for the sake of the students.

In this respect as a teacher I would like to arrange Parents-Teacher Meeting in regular intervals so as to bring up the situations and to come on a profitable and amicable understanding.
